Who We Are

Learn More About NBCCC

In previous years, feral cats delivered to the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area by Animal Control or private citizens were euthanized. With a new collaborative program, this community will now be able to sterilize and immunize feral cats and return them to the area where they have been living.

Feral Cat TNR Program

Our spay/neuter and vaccination program is for FERAL CATS ONLY in New Braunfels. Friendly, adoptable cats will be evaluated for adoption through the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area. If not chosen for the adoption program, they may be euthanized. There is no charge to spay/neuter and vaccinate feral cats from Comal and Guadalupe Counties and the New Braunfels Area. However, to keep our program sustainable, please consider donating to the New Braunfels Community Cat Coalition.

Goodwin Center For Community Cats

The Goodwin Center for Community Cats was built with funds generously donated by Ms. Alice Goodwin in memory of her daughter who loved cats. Our feral cat spay/neuter program is run collaboratively by the New Braunfels Community Cat Coalition, the Comal County Veterinary Medical Association, and the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area.
